What Seattle Is Saying
Faqs
Got Questions? We've Heard Them All.
Do you serve my area?
We work within 50 miles of Seattle. That covers most of the Eastside, South King County, and Snohomish County. If you're not sure, just ask.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. Fully licensed in Washington state and insured on every job. We'll send you proof before we ever set foot on your property.
How long does a typical deck build take?
Most residential decks take 3 to 7 days depending on size and complexity. We give you a realistic timeline upfront and stick to it.
What materials do you work with?
Cedar, composite, pressure treated, ipe hardwood, and more. We'll walk you through what makes sense for your budget, your yard, and the PNW climate.
Do I need a permit for a new deck?
Usually yes, depending on size and height. We handle the permit process for you so you don't have to figure out Seattle's building department on your own.
How much does a new deck cost?
Every project is different. Most residential decks run between $15,000 and $50,000 depending on size, material, and scope. We give you a detailed quote after the site visit, no guessing.
Do you offer any kind of warranty?
Yes. We stand behind our work with a craftsmanship warranty on every project. Material warranties vary by product and we'll walk you through what's covered.
What makes Mill Decking different from other contractors?
We're a family business. The people who quote your job are the same people who build it. We've built 200+ decks across the PNW and our reputation is the only thing we won't compromise on.
